Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have just announced that they have tested positive for coronavirus.
Both are in Australia working on Warner Bros.’s new film Baz Luhrmann Elvis Presley.
Hanks will play Presley manager Colonel Tom Parker. From the deadline:

“Hi folks. Rita and I are here in Australia. We feel a little tired, like we have colds and muscle aches. Rita had the chills that came and went. Even mild fevers. To play things the right way, if necessary All over the world right now, we have been tested for coronavirus and it has tested positive.
Well now What to do next? Medical officials have protocols that must be followed. The Hanks will be evaluated, observed and isolated for as long as necessary for public health and safety. It’s not much of a day-to-day approach, is it?
